Terms of Service

1. About the service

Yoga Study Guides is an interactive online study library operated by LQ Planet Ltd, a company registered in New Zealand (trading as All Mats Taken). The service provides digital study guides for yoga teachers covering anatomy, philosophy and related topics.

By creating an account and subscribing you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The service is intended for yoga teachers and yoga teacher trainees, but it is available to any eligible adult.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@allmatstaken.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may only create one account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable — they may not be shared with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription and billing

Plans

Access to Yoga Study Guides requires an active paid subscription. We currently offer two plans:

• Monthly: $19 USD per month, billed monthly in advance.
• Annual: $111 USD per year, billed annually in advance.

Prices are displayed and charged in US Dollars. Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees — we have no control over these.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. If we increase the price of your current plan, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the change affects your renewal. You can cancel before then if you do not wish to continue at the new price.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@allmatstaken.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.

Refunds

Because Yoga Study Guides delivers digital content that is immediately accessible upon subscription, we do not offer refunds once a billing period has started, except where required by applicable consumer law.

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate.

Consumer rights (New Zealand)

If you are a consumer based in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 may apply to your subscription. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand consumer law that cannot be excluded. If you have not accessed any content within 14 days of subscribing, you may request a full refund by contacting us.

6. Access to content

An active subscription gives you personal, non-exclusive access to all guides available in the library at the time of your subscription. We add new guides regularly — all new guides are included in your membership at no extra cost.

Access to the guides is provided online. We do not currently offer offline downloads. We do not guarantee that specific guides will remain available indefinitely, although we will give reasonable notice before removing any material from the library.

If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your access to the guides will end at the close of your current billing period.

7. Intellectual property

All content in Yoga Study Guides — including the study guides, text, diagrams, quizzes, flashcards and design — is owned by LQ Planet Ltd or its content contributors and is protected by copyright.

Your subscription gives you the right to access and use the content for your own personal study. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense or share the content with others, whether in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.

Sharing your login credentials so others can access the content is a breach of these terms and may result in account termination without refund.

8. Acceptable use

When using Yoga Study Guides you agree not to:

• Share your account with others or allow others to access the service using your credentials
• Attempt to access areas of the platform you are not authorised to access
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy or download content from the service
• Reproduce or republish guide content without written permission
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

9. Disclaimers

Yoga Study Guides provides educational content for yoga teachers. It is not a substitute for professional medical, physiotherapy or healthcare advice. Nothing in the guides should be taken as clinical guidance.

While we work hard to ensure the accuracy of the content, we make no warranty that the information is complete, current or error-free. If you identify an inaccuracy, please let us know.

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access, and we may take the service offline for maintenance with or without notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LQ Planet Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of revenue or loss of opportunity.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes to the service or terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We may also modify, add to or remove features from the service at any time. We will aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand, except where applicable consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
